Hello, I'm Samia, the one behind the scene.
After studying fashion and design in New Zealand, I returned to Paris where I furthered my training with draping classes. After graduating from the Vauclair school, the need for versatility came very quickly, so for a few years I flitted about from studio to studio, hopping from manual to CAD patttern making, I even scored a job as head of workshop along the way.
In 2007 I quit my pattern cutting job at Louis Vuitton and created French Kit, a perfect world where patterns and knitting are combined. Since then I share my time between freelance pattern making jobs and knitting projects.
